Bristol City Council has teamed up with social housing providers to tackle unemployment in the city, following a pilot scheme which found work for 25 out of 87 residents facing multiple barriers to employment.

Bristol City Council has teamed up with social housing providers to tackle unemployment in the city, following a pilot scheme which found work for 25 out of 87 residents facing multiple barriers to employment.

The council has commissioned a dedicated worker to support unemployed residents to find work, in co-operation with registered social landlords forming part of the Bristol Housing Partnership.
