Birmingham City Council has launched a new approach to tackle homelessness and get more people into secure accommodation.

The new strategy builds on a previous document, adopted in 2008, and aims to improve the use of temporary accommodation in the city. It also includes a commitment to put domestic violence workers in all of the authority's housing advice centres.
