More power should be handed to tenant organisations, claim the Liberal Democrats. The Lib Dem local government spokesman, Dan Rogerson, said: ‘Estates will only become safer and more inclusive when we invest more in social housing and ensure local residents have a say in how their homes are run.' His comments follow the Government's announcement that tenant organisations will be given power to apply for anti-social behaviour orders.
