The number of homes owned by social housing providers has risen by 2.4% in the last year, according to statistics published by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
An HCA statistical data return shows that housing groups now own more than 2.5 million homes, while 1.9% of social rental stock does not meet the Decent Homes standard.
