London Councils has condemned Transport for London's borough spending plans as a real-terms cut for the second year in a row. Chairman of the transport and environment committee, Cllr Daniel Moylan, said: ‘Boroughs look after 95% of the capital's road network, and play a key role in ensuring that the thousands of people using the capital's roads every day can do so smoothly and safely.TfL has ignored our calls for increases that at least match inflation.'
