A district chief is set to job share in a bid to improve working between a group of local authorities. Diane Tilley has been appointed as Wyre Forest DC's interim chief executive and will take up her new post from 17 August. Ms Tilley is currently the director of planning, economy and performance at Worcestershire CC, and will divide her time between her existing and new role over the next six months. A qualified chartered surveyor, she has worked at Worcestershire since 2001. She said: ‘There is a strong relationship between the county council and Wyre Forest, with both organisations facing similar challenges along with serving the same public.'
