Hillingdon LBC and recruitment firm, Hays, have won an award for a programme encouraging jobless council tenants and leaseholders to secure work.
The organisations won the team of the year category at the Tenant Participation Advisory Services Awards 2011. To date, 60% of participants have found work through the 12-week programme named TILT –the training initiative for leaseholders and tenants.
