The GMB local government trade union announced this week its members would take industrial action against Imperial Tobacco.

The GMB local government trade union announced this week its members would take industrial action against Imperial Tobacco, after the firm passed-on Nottingham City Council's £288 per year levy on workplace car parking.

The action involves an ‘overtime ban' starting at a minute past midnight on 30 April, and there will also be a seven-day continuous ‘work to rule'.
