Dumfries and Galloway Council is reportedly considering cutting the number of councillors attending meetings to save on travel costs. Early indications have shown mileage costs claimed are going over budget. So Tory council leader, Ivor Hyslop, is said to be considering a reduction in committee sizes to cut travel expenses.
