Six West London councils have launched the procurement of a 24-year contract for residual waste treatment involving up to 300,000 tonnes of waste produced by 1.4 million residents.

Comprising the London boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames, the West London Waste Authority (WLWA) is using competitive dialogue to invite bids.
