Wolverhampton City Council is set to establish a charitable trust to run its leisure centres, without jobs losses planned as a result.

The proposal to create the Wolverhampton Leisure Trust was approved by the council's cabinet on 7 December and, pending approval from the full council, could be up and running in April 2012.
