The South Tyneside councillor at the centre of a legal battle in the US over the use of information from social network, Twitter, is now considering taking court action in the UK.
Independent Alliance councillor, Ahmed Khan, has criticised South Tyneside for spending £75,000 to help secure a court order at the Superior Court in California ordering Twitter to release information on four accounts, including the controversial ‘Mr Monkey' blog site.
