US tycoon, Donald Trump, has announced he is flying to Scotland next week, to attend and give evidence at a public hearing into his planned golf resort. The hearing was ordered by Scottish ministers after Aberdeenshire Council controversially threw out plans for the £1bn development in November 2007. ‘I respect the need for an inquiry and am totally committed to appearing, as I really want to see this development come to fruition,' said Mr Trump.
