PM David Cameron has offered Burma access to Whitehall's extensive expertise.

PM David Cameron has offered Burma access to Whitehall's extensive expertise providing the south Asian country ‘continues on a path to democracy' and abandons military rule.

Mr Cameron visited Burma – now known as Myanmar – as part of a swift tour of the region last week, following the country's first free elections since gaining independence from Britain in 1948.
