A union boss this week called for employers to come to the negotiating table as they accused bosses of ‘fundamentally undermining' their collective bargaining agreement.

Unison, GMB and Unite have all recommended their members reject the employers' ‘full and final' offer of a 3.2% pay increase for 2025-26, raising the prospect of strike action across the sector.
