The local branch of Unison has criticised Leicester City Council's decision to rehire chief finance officer, Mark Noble, just months after he was made redundant.
Mr Noble left the local authority in May as part of a management shake-up, but a council spokesman confi rmed that he had now been re-employed on a six month contract to help develop the authority's three-year financial strategy.
