The Lothian Pension Fund, a division of Edinburgh City Council, has started the tender process for an investment manager for its property mandate. It has a property mandate of approximately £380m, currently managed by Standard Life Investments. The fund's contract with Standard Life expires on 31 March 2008, and it is fund policy to tender at the end of a contract. Standard Life will be considered against other potential managers. The deadline for expressions of interest is 15 October.
