The council has been ordered by the British Information Commissioner to reveal details of a deal between Ryanair and the authority-owned Derry City Airport. It has until the end of this week to decide if it will appeal. ‘This decision raises some very fundamental issues for all public authorities throughout the United Kingdom which engage in commercial activities,' a spokesman said.
