Head of Safeguarding: Children & Young People & Quality Assurance Salary: £49,410 - £54,208, Market Supplement up to £8,000

Your role will be to provide professional expertise on children's safeguarding policy and practice and actively develop processes for Quality Assurance across Children and Young People's services. A qualified social worker with senior level experience in Safeguarding and QA, you will have proven expertise in the commissioning and provision of children's services, as well as in working in partnership across complex interfaces.

Strategic Education Outcomes Lead

Salary: £68,151 - £71,427, Market Supplement up to £4,400

You will play a key role in the strategic leadership of schools and education services for the authority, building on the existing strong relationship with schools and the success of our schools to further improve outcomes for all children and young people and narrowing the gap in outcomes for some vulnerable young people. With a substantial record of senior leadership experience in school and strategic settings, you will have a good knowledge of educational issues including SEN and an understanding of the evolving LA role in education.
