The country's biggest waste contractor has pledged support for the legal action being brought by two councils.

Viridor promised ‘every assistance' after the unitary authorities of Cheshire West and Chester, and Cheshire East, revealed they would seek a judicial review against the decision to withdraw the £100m of PFI credits by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
