Bristol City Council this week unveiled the city's largest ballot box to remind residents about the importance of next week's joint vote for a directly-elected mayor and police and crime commissioner (PCC).

Amid fears that turnouts for country-wide votes for the new, US-style PCCs could be extremely low, Bristol has been quick to remind its citizens they face two key decisions at the polls on 15 November.
