Waverley BC has rapped the BBC after television's Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson and James May appeared to flout the smoking ban in a programme screened this week. The two presenters lit up pipes during the news section of this week's edition of the series, which is filmed at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey. A council spokesman said: ‘Officers within environmental health have watched footage of the programme and have spoken to Dunsfold Park and the BBC, and reminded them of the need to comply with smoke-free legislation.'
