Former interim chief executive of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Chris Harman, has waived his right to a notice period for the role, after leaving on 30 October. It follows Mr Harman's failure to secure the chief executive's post on a permanent basis. He had been Stoke's assistant chief executive until his temporary promotion, and was widely tipped to land the senior role.
