An online campaign in Yorkshire and the Humber has helped boost the number of people interested in becoming children's social workers.

An online campaign in Yorkshire and the Humber has helped boost the number of people interested in becoming children's social workers, with more than 200 job applications.

The Children's ‘Social work matters' campaign was launched in October by the 15 local authorities across the region, and the scheme's dedicated website has now attracted more than 27,000 visits.
