The British property industry has welcomed the Government's announcement of a major review of rented housing. British Property Federation's director for residential policy, Ian Fletcher, said the review was ‘a welcome recognition of the important contribution the private rented sector is making'. He added: ‘We are positive the Government is keen to support a sector which delivers. ‘Our hope is that a more strategic approach will help it keep its promises.'
