New research has revealed planned government welfare cuts will pass costs onto local areas, with the North East, North West and Wales disproportionately impacted.

New research has revealed planned government welfare cuts will pass costs onto local areas, with the North East, North West and Wales disproportionately impacted.

The findings by public sector policy and technology experts Policy in Practice showed these regions faced over three times the economic impact and twice as many affected residents compared to London and the South East.
