The Welsh Assembly Government has revealed it will review the range of services offered by the principality’s 22 local authorities.

Welsh local government minister, Carl Sargeant, said the review would consider what services should be delivered locally, regionally or nationally. ‘We must not change simply for the sake of it but I do want us to have a clear model for local government services in Wales,' he explained.
