New auditor general for Wales, Huw Vaughan Thomas, has set out plans to ‘shake up' governance arrangements across the country.
Mr Thomas published a briefing paper on 11 October, outlining his proposals for Wales's ‘accountability, transparency and open management' practices. He intends to establish three non-executive committees to oversee resources, remuneration and audit risk and management, and to report to the Welsh Assembly on governance issues.
