Condemned by Audit Scotland for mismanagement last year, West Dunbartonshire Council has now drawn up plans for £14m in cuts to services. A council spokesman said: ‘We are trying to be open and transparent. This package of budget savings options has been issued to elected members as a list of potential savings options for them to consider. ‘It has been issued three months earlier than previously, in view of the current tight financial position faced by the council.'
