Westminster puts children first Westminster City Council is calling on major employers to follow its lead and give children in care priority when offering work experience. Cabinet member for children’s services, Cllr Sarah Richardson, said: ‘Looked-after children benefit hugely from work experience and offering them a place should be the top priority of every employer, not just local authorities.’
