The Society of Information Technology Management (SOCITM) has welcomed the general direction of the Local Government White Paper, but warns it is ‘only part of the picture'. Other documents SOCITM claims need to be considered, which are yet to be published, include the Varney report, the Lyons report, CSR07 and outputs from the Identity Management Forum, chaired by Sir James Crosby.
