Everyone bangs on about how much dosh we're spending on the pandemic and how we'll be paying the debt back for the next million years but what about all these other black holes into which the Government is shovelling shedloads of our cash?
I mean why are they still digging up hard shoulders to create what's laughably called ‘smart motorways?' which are about as smart as my Rizla roller. Hasn't anyone in Whitehall noticed half the country don't drive to work anymore and probably never will, so why do we still need an extra lane and where does the dosh come from to pay hundreds of geezers in hi-viz jackets to dig up the M4 for two years?
