What is it about councils that whatever they do they seem to make a meal of it? You wouldn't have thought adopting kids would be that complicated. There's enough of them in care, more in fact than ever, all needing decent homes. So you'd have thought the council's first priority is to match them up asap with parents who want to adopt and there's enough of them as well.
