The borough of Wigan has been hailed as one of the top towns in the UK to do business, according to analysts, Duport.More than 360 new businesses registered in the area during 2012, (265 in 2011).
'Our business community plays an extremely important role in the borough, helping to create jobs and boost the economy,' said Wigan BC deputy leader, Cllr David Molyneux.
