Wight’s all right Isle of Wight Council is making some progress to improve services, but still faces key challenges, according to the Audit Commission. The commission’s corporate assessment inspection team found the council was showing drive and determination in raising levels of ambition on the island. But challenges still exist in human resources, performance management, and work with the voluntary sector.
