One in 10 local authority female staff have experienced inappropriate touching by a manager, a landmark sexual harassment survey by trade union Unite has found.

One in 10 local authority female staff have experienced inappropriate touching by a manager, a landmark sexual harassment survey by trade union Unite has found.

Some 18% had experienced it from another colleague while 5% reported sexual coercion – when a person pressures, tricks, threatens or manipulates someone into engaging in sexual activity without genuine consent – from someone at work.
