London Councils has welcomed the mayor's offer of £20m to expand youth services, offered by the capital's boroughs. Cllr James Kempton, London Councils executive member for children and young people, said: ‘This money comes as a welcome boost to London's boroughs, which are collectively spending at least £60m this year directly on youth services.'
