External auditors have blamed ‘staff capacity’ at Isle of Anglesey CC for a three-year backlog of work.
In its annual report for 2020-21, Audit Wales said its work auditing the council’s housing benefits subsidy claims for 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 returns was still ‘ongoing’.
