Hackney LBC has warned MPs about the Government’s attempt to ‘rush through’ benefit changes to those in supported housing without fully funding them.
Giving evidence to a select committee inquiry yesterday, the council said the changes would leave the ‘most vulnerable in society forced to worry about how they will pay their rent’.
