Bristol mayor creates UK-first social investment scheme

Bristol’s mayor is hoping to mobilise the investment power of businesses to tackle the city’s challenges in a scheme thought to be the first of its kind in the UK.

Led by the office of mayor Marvin Rees, Bristol City Funds aims to provide funding for groups and projects in four priority areas ranging from child hunger to global warming.
