The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) is to broaden its support to councillors as the focus on financial risks heightens.
In the wake of the Section 114 notices at Northamptonshire CC, CIPFA said it would think about how it could explore new ways to support members through conferences, guidance, networks and thought leadership.
