COVID-19 travel advice a ‘recipe for confusion’

Councils say they were left in the dark over Government advice warning against travelling to areas hit by the Indian coronavirus variant.

The Government’s website advises people to ‘avoid travelling in and out of affected areas unless it is essential’, in addition to staying 2m apart and meeting outdoors where possible.
