Camden leader set to take on London Councils role

Camden LBC leader Georgia Gould has been elected to take over as chair of London Councils by her Labour colleagues.

The vote makes it almost certain she will take over the chair of the Labour-led association at the next Leaders Committee on 13 October. 

Cllr Gould will replace Southwark leader, Cllr Peter John, who announced his departure earlier this year but delayed his plans to deal with the COVID crisis.
