Sheffield City Council has been criticised by the regulator for putting hundreds of tenants at ‘potential risk’ after failing to carry out gas safety checks.
The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) said Sheffield ‘failed to meet statutory health and safety requirements’ and concluded there was ‘potential for serious detriment to tenants’.
