A council has denied it is being run ‘incompetently’ after its MP flagged up the state of its finances with ministers.
Speaking in the House of Commons last week, Conservative MP for Harborough, Sir Edward Garnier, claimed Lib Dem-run Oadby & Wigston BC was ‘in dire financial straits’.
