Councils 'undermined' by right to regenerate plans

Councils have urged a rethink on proposals to hand ministers powers to force the sale of public land.

The sector has responded to consultation on a new ‘right to regenerate’ that would extend the secretary of state’s powers to force public bodies to sell ‘underused’ land.
