Essex CC’s strategy and initiatives for levelling up across the county were praised today as ‘genuinely trailblazing’ by co-chair of The Purpose Coalition Justine Greening.

The former education secretary was speaking at the launch of Levelling Up Essex, a White Paper setting out the council’s approach and rationale in developing its levelling up plans. The paper also launched the first four initiatives focused on communities and families.
