Former Lewisham chief lands new role

Former Lewisham LBC chief executive, Ian Thomas, has landed the top job at Kingston upon Thames LBC, just weeks after his controversial departure.

Mr Thomas stood down from the south London borough due to a ‘change in direction’ by new Mayor Damian Egan, just six months after he took up the post. He was previously director of children’s services at Rotherham MBC.
