A new poll has revealed 82% of councillors believe Government proposals for National Development Management Policies (NDMPs) will erode local democracy.

The Savanta survey's findings for countryside charity CPRE come after the Government resisted efforts in the House of Lords to give local planning proposals primacy over NDMPs.
