How new Northamptonshire chief tackled 'perfect storm'

The chief executive of Northamptonshire CC has spoken of how she helped the council on its journey to recovery.

After eight months at the helm of the authority, Theresa Grant said the council was still very fragile financially and there was much more to do.

However, the council has produced a balanced budget for the first time in seven years and its Section 114 has been lifted - all while preparing for reorganisation.
